    Dardenne Prairie lies in St. Charles County, one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. A wide variety of performers take the stage each summer at the Amphitheater, ranging from Toby Keith to REO Speedwagon. • River City Rascals: Fans crowd T.R. Hughes Ballpark between May and September to watch the minor league baseball team take on their Frontier League opponents. Over 5,000 fans can crowd into the open-air ballpark on any given game day. • Family Arena: Named "One of the Top 100 Worldwide Area Venues" in 2009 by Pollstar, the Family Arena is ranked among some of the greats like the Spirit Center and the Allstate Arena. As a mid-sized venue, the Arena is popular for both smaller concerts and tradeshows. • Harrah's and Ameristar Casinos: These two local outposts of major Las Vegas casinos are located on the Missouri River. Both are renoun for their state-of-the-art casino facilities, four-star restaurants and nightlife activities.
